I am looking for a house painter and I see that Google provides me with an opportunity to review George Apap Inc. Please keep in mind that my remarks refer to work done about ten years ago, and since that time I hope that the Apap team has greatly improved their work in all respects. However, I will not call them now that I need a painter because of my disappointing experience with them when they painted my house in a hurried slapdash fashion ten years ago....in like two days! And they worked through the rain which painters should know not to do! The hurried, corner-cutting efforts were easy to see, but what made them easier to see was that I could contrast them with the careful, methodical way my house had been scraped, primed and painted seven years before that by a one-man operation who had moved. Most disconcerting was the fact that the Apap team had naturally removed from each window the metal rims that held the screen/storm windows. When they were replaced, every single one was replaced poorly, and easily half of the screws that held each window in its frame were missing. It took me immense effort to get those window frames back to their original form....and they never were right again....and the lost screws were never replaced. Still burnt over my disappointing, expensive paint job, imagine my astonishment when, in my preschool daughter's cubby, I found a full page advertisement for Apap. I showed it to the school director who was naturally concerned that an Apap mom was, without the school's permission, promoting her family's business....through a private nursery school! View this as naive or brazen. Compare a great many prices and a great many recommendations before you contract wot a painter.
